1.The Liquid Adhesive Method:
Put liquid adhesive on
to your scalp, in the front of your natural hairline, use either one of your
fingers, which may provide the best control and coverage, or a level cosmetic
stick.
Do
not
use Q-tips as the fibers will bond to the adhesive. Follow the manufacturer\’s
instructions in regards of treatment time.
Optional: Put a wig cap on to better protect
your own hair.
Begin by lightly applying the liquid adhesive, around the boundary of your
hairline.
When applying the liquid adhesive to the back area, drop your chin to your
chest, so that when wearing your full lace wig, when you look down, it won\’t
lift or tug your skin.
Allow the liquid adhesive to dry entirely, until it is clear in exterior and
tacky to the touch.
Then pull the hair of the full lace wig into a firm knot at the crown while the
hair unit is on a wig head.
Place the lace edge of the full lace wig, on the skin of your forehead of your
natural hairline, press securely and use a fine teeth comb to push back the
baby hair.
Resume to adjust the lace of the full lace wig around the whole boundary of
your hairline working from the forehead to the sides of your head down to the
nape area.
Avoid touching the forehead hairline area once the adhesive has set and the
lace has been applied.
Secure with a snug headband or wrap to completely set the bonding process.
Avoid heavy moisture,as
well as water on the full lace wig for 24-48hrs
2.
THE TAPE METHOD:
Cut the full lace wig, pre-bond double-sided tape to fit
your hairline.
Most tapes are already precut for your convenience.
Place the pre-bond double sided tape strips in front of your natural hairline
around the whole boundary of your head.
Next apply the lace of the full lace wig, with a little pressure onto the
strips starting from the front of your forehead and working your way to one
side of your head, then the other side of your head. Again, remember when you
reach the back area, drop your chin to your chest, so that when wearing your
full lace, if/when you look down, it won\’t lift or tug your skin.
Wrap the perimeter of your head with a scarf or snug headband to completely set
the bonding process. Avoid heavy moisture as well as water on the full lace wig
for 24-48hrs.
